The U.S. Writer's strike has quite an impressive list of casualties - the latest one being David Letterman. The king of the late night chat show had to suffer the indignity of groveling to one Paris Hilton on Friday night. The "hard working" socialite vowed never to return to Letterman's show after he ripped it ourra her in spectacular style after her prison stint. By way of an introduction on Friday, Letterman said: "I made a fool of myself and I hurt the woman's feelings. I went too far." According to sources: "The host revealed Hilton was adamant she'd never appear on the show again, but he tracked her down to apologize, sent her a letter and flowers, and implored her to change her mind." This loosely translates as - anyone credible is refusing to pass the picket lines. Paris is one of the few who'll stop at nothing to promote her slew of products including "her own sparkling wine, cell phone videogame and shoe, jewelry, watch, scent and clothing lines." Oh, and let's not forget her new film, The Hottie and The Nottie.
