As per The BBC, legendary British broadcaster and writer, David Frost - most known for his compelling interviews with President Nixon in which the former American authority made an apology over the infamous Watergate - has died.

Mr Frost was 74 years of age. It is suspected that he died from a heart attack while aboard the Queen Elizabeth on Saturday night where he was to give a speech.

A statement said: "His family are devastated and ask for privacy at this difficult time. A family funeral will be held in the near future and details of a memorial service will be announced in due course."

He will forever be remembered as one of the greatest journalistic personalities on TV and has been immortalised in film by Michael Sheen in the fantastic Frost/Nixon.
