If you've been keeping up to date with how Liverpool got on in the league this season, you probably know that Mario Balotelli didn't have a great season in front of goal.

The Italian managed to score just one league goal in all his games this term, which was not the return either he or his manager expected. Cabinteely FC, a side in the League of Ireland, decided that they'd poke a bit of fun at his poor strike rate and promote their upcoming match against Athlone Town by tweeting the star a quick message.

Despite having their own problems in front of goal, the South Dublin side claimed that they wouldn't need his help for the game on Friday, and that he could stop calling them about getting a run out with the side.

Mario hasn't responded yet, but we feel it goes without saying that we'd like to see him tog out for the side, even if it was just for one game.
