Ben nominated Tina: "It'd be nice to get a bit of volume control... there's no room for anyone else's opinion". Sure. Tina's to blame for you being largely mute. His second nomination was Mutya: "She's clearly unhappy and she hangs out with Tina."

Coolio nominated Ulrika: "I don't think she really likes half the people here. She doesn't want to be here... She's a little bit full of herself. It feels as though she is superior, so she can take her superior ass home." His second nomination was Michelle: "She's young and she's hot. She walks around with these bitty shorts... She can be a distraction and I've got a woman. I don't need distractions, I'm trying to win." That appeared to be a valid reason for Big Brother.

LaToya nominated Ulrika: "She's terribly unhappy. She's miserable and she wants to go". Big Brother then piped in that this wasn't really a valid reason, to which LaToya blurted: "OK, she's a bit controlling and bossy." She then said something about Ulrika having "hatred" in her facial expression. Her second nomination was Mutya: "I feel she's extremely bored (she always looks like that, LaToya). She's going through the motions, rolling her eyes."

Michelle nominated Tina: "Kinda feel bit intimidated when she let's rip with her opinions." Not to mention other things. Her second nomination was Coolio: "He's making me not enjoy my time here. He's making a big deal about me and Ben... I hope he's not making my boyfriend feel..." and then I lost interest, but you could follow that sentence with "embarrassed", "debilitating disbelief" or "mildly repulsed". She must think her boyfriend is as insecure as she appears to be.

Mutya nominated Tommy: "The laughing and all that stuff irritates me... And I'm not sure if it's a genuine laugh." OK, unfounded, bellowing laughs are beyond irritating, but I'd be more freaked by the constant sporting of white shorts for NO reason. Her second nomination was Verne: "We've not communicated properly... I don't feel comfortable asking him why he is the way he is (I'll take a stab and say he was born that way?), or ask about his girlfriends..." Ahhhh, she might've seen "the tape". Hence her general feelings of discomfort.

Terry nominated Michelle: "I've noticed her being a bit touchy with people… She's going to end up voting for people I'd like to stay in the house". His second nomination was (surprise, surprise) Ulrika: "She's very pleasant to me but she doesn't really like me… She's been a little bit too uncomfortable". Yeah, 'cause you publicly stated she had a big ego and that she's "high handed", whatever the f*** that means.

Tina nominated Michelle: "She's quite superficial and shallow. She seems permanently obsessed with how she looks." Her second nomination was Ben: "Bland is probably the word... Just because your gorgeous doesn't mean you can just appear." Then she made reference to one of the three stories he keeps repeating, the one about bringing a girl on a date who ordered steak instead of "fish fingers".

Tommy nominated Ulrika: "Very opinionated. Often doesn't listen when you're having a debate an cuts across you... When I tried to help her with the DVD during the dance task, I was dismissed like a numpty." His second nomination was Mutya for her "lack of contribution... Very rarely will she break into song or suggest a game for us to play... Whether it's entertainment, cooking or cleaning, I wouldn't miss her if she were to leave." An insight into Patches' view of women, people - he'd prefer to spend time with your average beer wench of yore, but only if she asked him to help her lock up after a night's entertaining.

Ulrika nominated Ben: I don't feel like he contributes conversationally... He just walks around... singing like a girl." Her second nomination was for LaToya: "When I approach her she looks terrified. That could have as much to do with me (and the "hatred" on your face)... I want to bring her into the fold."

Verne nominated Ulrika: "When we were doing the duet... she wanted to be right all the time, in control." When Big Brother asked Verne to be more specific, he went a bit mental saying: "I just said, I don't want to repeat myself again… OK, I'll repeat myself again - she wanted to watch the DVD all the time and I wanted to do it another way." I think what Verne was trying to say was, "She makes me feel smaller." His second nomination was for Tina: "She's one of the loudest… She thinks she is more attractive and ultimately full of herself."

In the end, Ulrika got five nominations, while Mutya, Tina and Michelle all got three so all four will face the public vote. None of the male housemates nominated fellow male and Terry didn't receive one nomination. Not even from Ulrika.

Last Night's Highlights: The show's opening line, which came from Coolio: "Why would you f*** around with old ass Madonna? She looks like a f***ing bag of crisps." Ben then pointed out that LaToya was old enough to be his mother, but that he still would... Coolio then admitting that he'd do Mutya, but only while drunk... Michelle saying in the diary room, in front of Coolio, Ben, Verne and Terry when they went on a mission for booze: "I'm not really bothered but I would like some stimulation." Coolio then saying to Ben: "Sort your girl out, Ben". Last Night's Lowlights: The resulting tears from Michelle and the claims that she was going to leave (a threat which flipped sharpishly when LaToya gave her but two words of encouragement). What we can expect tonight: Possibly more tears courtesy of Michelle's overactive ducts - and Ulrika's and Mutya's after producers let a load of children run around the house. Verne going about his business... and Terry in a tutu.
