Lady Gaga got a dressing down from Ellen DeGeneres for her "offal" outfit. The singer appeared on the Ellen DeGeneres Show following her triumph at the MTV Video Music Awards, where the star took home eight gongs. DeGeneres, who's a vegan, told the singer she didn't understand the outfit she was wearing, which was made entirely out of meat. "I get most of your outfits, just not this one,” Ellen said. Gaga then replied with this as a way of an explanation: "It's certainly no disrespect to anyone that's vegan or vegetarian. As you know, I'm the most judgment-free human being on the Earth. It has many interpretations, but for me, this evening, it's saying if we don't stand up for what we believe in, if we don't fight for our rights, pretty soon we're going to have as much rights as the meat on our bones." *scratches head* How did she come up with that logic? Would a sign or a printed t-shirt not have been sufficient?

DeGeneres then offered the Bad Romance hit-maker an alternative to her raw meat apparel - a bikini and skirt made of vegetables (that's kinda funny). If you haven't seen the outfit in question, have a gander here.
