After months - nine of them, to be precise - of speculation and rumour, Kylie Jenner has finally admitted to what pretty much everyone knew.

Namely, she was pregnant and chose to keep the whole thing out of the spotlight. In an Instagram post, Jenner explained her reasons in pretty succinct terms. "I understand you’re used to me bringing you along on all my journeys. My pregnancy was one I chose not to do in front of the world. I knew for myself I needed to prepare for this role of a lifetime in the most positive, stress free, and healthy way I knew how. There was no gotcha moment, no big paid reveal I had planned. I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happiness.”

She went on, explaining that "(pregnancy) has been the most beautiful, empowering, and life changing experience I’ve had in my entire life and I’m actually going to miss it." Jenner's child was revealed to be a girl, with Travis Scott, however the name has not yet been revealed.

Jenner also shared a video of the pregnancy, which also included some home footage of Kim Kardashian's recent child, Chicago West.

It's understood the child was born last week and mother and child are happy and healthy. There you have it, folks. Months of speculation and it's all over.

You can all go home now.
