Kristen Stewart wins on and off the red carpet at Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards

Kristen Stewart and One Direction were the big winners at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards last night in LA,

At the annual ceremony in Los Angeles, the boy band took home the prizes for Favourite Music Group and Favourite Song for 'What Makes You Beautiful', even though it came out in August 2011. Stewart meanwhile seems to have shaken off her most-hated status after last year's drama and picked up two awards as she was named both Favourite Female Buttkicker for her title role in 'Snow White and the Huntsman', and Favourite Movie Actress for Bella Swan in 'The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2.

Before presenting Kristen with the latter, Sandra Bullock and Neil Patrick Harris kept up the tradition of celebrities getting slimed, while rapper Pitbull and basketball star Dwight Howard were also subject to the show's signature stunt.

As for the red carpet, it was all bright, slime Summery coloured numbers on most, with the exception of Kylie Jenner who went as the black widow, and Jaden and Willow Smith looking like something from Mad Max, which is leaving us with mixed feelings. Red carpet winner? Victoria Justice. It takes a special kind of chutzpah to rock that much colour and she did it well. Honourable mention for KStew, who looked like she was actually having fun for once in a navy polka dot ensemble.

And the losers on the red carpet? Ryan Newman and her snot dress, Steve Carell coming dressed very much as a dad, and Fergie's aquarium acid trip nightmare. We're going to blame the choice of gúna on baby-brain.
