It kind of speaks to how utterly artificial Donald Trump's entire personage is that the only person who could reach him on an emotional level and actually get him to do something remotely decent and humane was a fellow reality television personality.
Donald Trump recently commuted the sentence of Alice Johnson, a 63-year old woman who was convicted on eight criminal counts relating to a cocaine trafficking operation, after Kim Kardashian West campaigned and met with him at the White House. Kardashian West has been campaigning for prison and sentencing reform of late, and discussed it with Trump - which, in turn, came up in discussion with Jimmy Kimmel.
And the fact that she was naked when he called her. As she tells it, she was on a photoshoot with Steven Klein when the call came through and quickly threw on a robe. "Did the President know you were in a robe and nothing else, because he'd have probably released the whole prison if you told him?"
