Paris Fashion Week. The fashion week for fashion connoisseurs. Admittedly, I know 'sweet F A' about what happens at these things. What I do know is there's plenty of shows to be seen, pretty dresses and elaborate couture creations to be unveiled and, most importantly, plenty of peacocking celebrities to be spotted.

Among the familiar faces snapped out and about at Paris Fashion Week over the last few days were fashion's highest bitch - Anna Wintour (I wonder what poor person this finger is being pointed at. God help them. I'm not being mean, don't forget that Meryl Streep's Devil Wears Prada character was based on her). Then there's fashion's most devout follower - Alexa Chung, Bruce Springsteen who, um, knows how to work a pair of jeans and Carine Rotfield - former model and Editor In Chief at Vogue Paris who looks like she could use a teabag or two on those tired looking eyes.

Also there was KIMYE. That's the wonder that is Kim Kardashian and Kanye West for those of you who've been living under a rock this past while, or those of you lucky to have escaped the daily influx of Kimye related news. (Shoot me, please.)

Looking at these pics of Kanye looking less than riveted makes me wonder, do these people even LIKE fashion shows? Sure, the collections are nice to look at but show after show has to get a little draining. Look how delighted he is when the show is over. I can understand Kim wanting to be there; if she's not spotted out and about at least once a week we'll soon forget who she is and why she was ever on our radar (Then I'll gingerly remind you of that sex tape she made with Ray Jay about six years ago, the reason we've had to endure her ubiquitous presence ever since.) On the contrary, Kanye doesn't need the exposure. Unless he's just in the French capital paying homage to his current hit with Jay Z, "Niggas in Paris"? Given the nods he makes to fashion labels Gucci, Louis Vuitton and Margiela in the following lyrics - "What's Gucci my n**** what's Louis my killer, What's drugs my dealer what's that jacket Margiela, Doctors say I'm the illest cause I'm suffering from realness, Got my n****s in Paris and they going gorillas" - maybe I've misjudged Mr. West. Maybe he's just so engrossed in the show or, as he might say, ballin' so hard, in the zone, on his throne and all that.
