Kevin Spacey has made his first public appearance since October of last year, when he was accused of sexual assault by a number of men, including 'Star Trek: Discovery' actor Anthony Rapp.

It's been confirmed by multiple US outlets that Spacey is facing a felony charge for sexual assault against a former TV anchor's teenage son in 2016. Just as this story broke, Spacey posted the video - seemingly in character as Frank Underwood from 'House Of Cards' - where he vaguely addressed both his disgrace and the charges against him.

"Despite all the poppycock, the animosity, the headlines, the impeachment without a trial. Despite even my own death, I feel surprisingly good and my confidence grows each day that soon enough you will know the full truth," Spacey said in the video.

Per Variety, Spacey is set to be arraigned on a charge of indecent assault and battery on a person 14 or over at Nantucket District Court on January 7th.

Needless to say, the social media reaction regarding Spacey's video has been swift and decidedly negative.
