So there you are, one of the world's more famous 18-year-olds trying to order alcohol in an NYC eatery. You're bound to get refused. Then you're going to be embarrassed, so you're going to scarper, aren't you? All perfectly normal reactions. The purported money throwing may a bit much, though.
18-year-old Kendall was dining with Stephen Baldwin's daughter Hailey at Mercer Kitchen in New York and allegedly grew frustrated when she was declined alcohol as she is underage, so they left without paying the full bill.
A source said: "The staff wouldn't serve her [alcohol] because she's underage. Kendall got up and left and didn't pay for all the food... about $60 worth, and without a tip."
Their waitress, Blaine Morris - who just so happened to appeared in the US version of Skins as 'Betty' - followed the pair outside to ask Kendall to pay her bill, prompting the model to hurl money at her.
The source added to the New York Post: "Kendall and Hailey started laughing. Kendall took a couple of $20 bills out of her wallet, threw them at the server and walked away, not even counting if it was enough or if it included a tip."
Blaine - who's profile is private - later tweeted: "That horrible moment you chase a Kardashian down the street because she forgot to pay her bill to be thrown money in your face."
However, while a spokesperson for Kendall didn't comment, a representative for her Hailey insisted they were 'polite'.
The spokesperson said: "They thought everything was paid for. Kendall was polite and asked 'Does this cover it?' They didn't run."
