Nice to see certain airport security sorts don't let the uniform go to their heads.

Fresh from performing at Bestival, Kelis, who failed to name the airport in question, Tweeted regarding the incident, saying she was accused of queue skipping by a "red faced sweaty man". He then went on to call her a "slave" and "probably a disgusting Nigerian." Unsurprisingly, he also insisted she call him "Sir".

The Guardian reports: "that an official behind the passport desk had laughed and said 'Kunta Kinte', the name of a slave in Alex Haley's book about the slave trade, Roots. Kelis said none of the other passengers on the plane she had just flown with, who were also queuing, intervened... According to her account on Twitter, Keilis did not lose her temper as she was travelling with her two-year-old son, whom she refers to in her postings as the 'midget'."

"We just landed and I had the midget with me. We get in the passport control line and apparently pissed this one man off cause he thought I cut the line. I am in London all the time and today I'm gonna say that the racial issues in the UK are disgusting. It's racially decades behind progression because everything is swept under the rug. People don't talk about it. People don't fight about it (now that's not necessarily true...). Not mentioning a problem doesn't make it go away."

According to Sky News: "The UK Border Agency was unavailable for comment."

They were probably too busy goose stepping around the Priority Pass lounge.
