It doesn't matter what industry it is - there's always going to be a family business in it somewhere. Sure enough, Hollywood is no different. There's been a raft of Hollywood dynasties, from the Bridges to the Kazans, the Baldwins, the Arquettes and loads more besides. Here's a quick rundown on some of Hollywood's dynasties.

LLOYD, JEFF AND BEAU BRIDGES

Arguably the most well-known of the Bridges is Jeff. He's won an Best Actor Oscar and has been nominated several more times as well. His older brother, Beau Bridges, has won several Emmys for his TV work and even won a Grammy Award. Their father, Lloyd Bridges, was a television star in the 1960's and 1970's and was - trivia alert - offered the role of Captain Kirk in a little TV series called Star Trek. Lloyd Bridges turned it down because he didn't think it'd go anywhere.

JAMIE LEE CURTIS, TONY CURTIS AND JANET LEIGH

Tony Curtis, star of classics such as Some Like It Hot and The Persuaders, got around. Married a total of SIX times, he had a number of children by his various wives and partners. His first marriage to fellow actress and icon Janet Leigh gave him his first daughter, Jamie Lee Curtis. Jamie Lee Curtis herself married into a different kind of dynasty, however. Her husband, comic actor Christopher Guest, also sits in the House of Lords as Baron Haden-Guest. Oooh-er.

FRANCIS FORD COPPOLA, SOFIA COPPOLA, JASON SCHWARTZMANN, TALIA SHIRE AND NICHOLAS CAGE

Yeah, that's a lot. And they're all related. Francis Ford Coppola, director of The Godfather, called his most famous work a 'home movie' - primarily because so much of his family was involved. His sister, Talia Shire, was cast as Connie Corleone whilst his then-infant daughter Sofia Coppola played the little baby in the infamous baptism scene. Not only that, his pianist father had a brief cameo in the film too. Talia Shire's son is actor Jason Schwartzmann, who's starred in The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom and Saving Mr. Banks. Who's his first cousin? Nicholas Cage. Or as he's known to his mother, Nicholas Coppola. Cage's father was August Coppola, brother of Talia and Francis.

ZOE KAZAN, NICHOLAS KAZAN, ROBIN SWICORD AND ELIA KAZAN

Zoe Kasan, who stars in What If? with Daniel Radcliffe, may seem like a newcomer to audiences. However, she's a part of one of Hollywood's oldest dynasties. Her grandfather is Elia Kazan, writer / director of East of Eden, On The Waterfront and A Streetcar Named Desire. He's credited with launching the careers of Marlon Brando, James Dean, Warren Beatty and inspiring countless others. Her parents are no slouches, either. Her father is Nicholas Kazan, screenwriter of Bicentennial Man and the adaptation of Roald Dahl's Matilda. Her mother, Robin Swicord, wrote the screenplay for Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Memoirs Of A Geisha.

MELANIE GRIFFITH, DON JOHNSON, TIPPI HEDREN AND DAKOTA JOHNSON

Although she's now split with her third husband, Antonio Banderas, she was previously married to Don Johnson. Twice. Her mother, screen icon Tippi Hedren, didn't have luck with marriages either. She too ended up marrying three times, as well. Melanie Griffith and Don Johnson's daughter Dakota is also starting up her career and will be appearing in 50 Shades of Grey alongside Jamie Dornan.

ZOOEY DESCHANEL, EMILY DESCHANEL, MARY JO DESCHANEL AND CALEB DESCHANEL

Although Zooey Deschanel may have eclipsed her older sister Emily Deschanel, we're guessing there's no hard feelings between them. Their parents both worked in the industry so we're guessing they were well prepared. Their mother, Mary Jo Deschanel, had a guest-starring role in 90's cult hit Twin Peaks, but before that, she appeared in The Right Stuff alongside Ed Harris. Her husband, their father is noted cinematographer Caleb Deschanel. He worked on Roland Emmerich's The Patriot, William Friedkin's Killer Joe and most recently Winter's Tale with Colin Farrell.
