Katy Perry has given birth to a baby girl. The singer first revealed she was pregnant in her music video for "Never Worn White" back in March.
Katy Perry and her fiancé, actor Orlando Bloom, are UNICEF Goodwill Ambassadors.
They announced the birth of their child and her name, Daisy Dove Bloom, via UNICEF's Instagram.
They said: "We are floating with love and wonder from the safe and healthy arrival of our daughter.
"But we know we’re the lucky ones and not everyone can have a birthing experience as peaceful as ours was. Communities around the world are still experiencing a shortage of healthcare workers and every eleven seconds a pregnant woman or newborn dies, mostly from preventable causes.
"As parents to a newborn, this breaks our hearts, as we empathise with struggling parents now more than ever."
They encouraged followers to donate to the charity.
The couple broke up back in February 2017, before reconciling in April the following year. They became engaged on Valentine’s Day last year.
Bloom has a 9-year-old son, Flynn, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
This is Katy Perry's first child.
Daisy Dove was born one day before the release of her album 'Smile'. One of the singles on the album is called "Daisies."
