According to entertainment news website TMZ, Taylor Swift had already threatened Kanye West with legal action for secretly recording the phone conversation the two artists had about lyrics for his song Famous.
TMZ reports that they hold a copy of the letter sent by Taylor’s lawyer to Kanye’s attorney, which details how under California law, it’s a criminal offense to secretly record a telephone conversation with someone in the state.
A source told TMZ that the phone call was recorded in a studio in LA.
The letter was sent in February of this year and states: ‘Demand is hereby made that you immediately destroy all such recordings, provide us of assurance that this has been done, and also assurance that these recordings have not been previously disseminated.’
Now that Kim Kardashian has made the phone call public, needless to say, the s*** is about to hit the fan.
