When Justin Bieber voiced his support of Conor McGregor ahead of last month's boxing match in Las Vegas, it came as a surprise to many - particularly since the Canadian pop star had been a staunch supporter of his opponent, Floyd Mayweather.

Bieber was such good mates with the boxer, in fact, that he even walked into the ring with him ahead of his fight with Manny Pacquiao in 2015.

Now it seems that their friendship has soured and fans spotted that Bieber unfollowed Mayweather on Instagram, leading to reports that the latter was incandescent with anger about being 'dropped'.

Now, the singer has addressed the matter - although he offered no detailed explanation - when asked by a TMZ pap what was going on.

"I have nothing against Floyd," he said. "We just need to create boundaries and stuff when it comes to certain things.”
