It seems that there's something in the water in Hollywood as the third shock divorce has been announced in recent weeks.
This time, it's a particularly unexpected one as actor Joshua Jackson and his wife, English actress Jodie Turner-Smith, have announced their intention to divorce.
It comes hot on the heels of splits involving Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, and Hugh Jackman and his wife of 27 years, Deborra-Lee Furness - relationships that most people assumed were rock-solid.
'Dawson's Creek' actor Jackson and Turner-Smith first met at Usher's 40th birthday party, have been married since 2019 and have one 3-year-old daughter together. It was Turner-Smith who filed for divorce, citing 'irreconcilable differences' - with the papers filed just one day after they were last spotted together at New York Fashion Week looking pretty loved-up.
Neither have made an official statement.
