Gossip is so spartan today I've been forced to look Germany for inspiration. Thankfully they had their Golden Kamera awards ceremony over the weekend and some actual movie stars turned up - and there I thought it would just heavily feature Michael Bolton (and they didn't disappoint).
As well as the Bolton, those attending were also blessed with the presence of Morgan Freeman, Scarlett Johansson and Denzel Washington... Freeman was being awarded with the Lifetime Achievement gong, while Johansson and Washington both bagged Best International Actor for their respective genders. 'Cause they've both done lots in that last year. Really notable films. Block busters.
Dionne Warwick also won an award entitled Lifetime Achievement Honor (not taking away from Morgan at all there), and Miss Piggy did the rounds - probably priming herself for her role as the official red carpet host of the Orange British Academy Film Awards 2012, a position previously undertaken by Muppets Kimberly Walsh and Edith Bowman.
