With news of the Jonas Brothers' split sweeping the nation (though I'm not sure anyone really gave a sh*t over this side of the pond), there's been lots of speculation over Joe Jonas' alleged drug addiction. There's been all manner of rumours bandied about, that he's been a major user of 'hard drugs', and other such claims.
The former purity ring wearer has since come out to slam such allegations, explaining that whatever we hear about a heroin addiction, it's all'ridiculous'.
It was also suggested that their split came about following a rift over Joe's supposed drug problems.
Speaking to People, it was clear that Joe's not a bit happy. Though whether the drug rumours are true or false, I guess we have no proof of.
"It's ridiculous! We're not saying anything for two or three weeks and I'm a drug addict!... It's obviously not true. I've never touched heroin in my life. Neither has my girlfriend. It's hilarious to me, but also frustrating as well. It pissed me off when it's about my girl... I was walking down the street and people are asking me if they can give me a hug and how rehab is. I'm like, 'You tell me because I've never been'."
Joe can't seem to catch a break in terms of bad press, what with the widely reported claims that he had made a sex tape with his girlfriend, Blanda Eggenschwiler.
