According to reports, Joaquin Phoenix and Rooney Mara have welcomed their first child.
Director Victor Kossakovsky revealed the news at the 2020 Zurich Film Festival after a screening of the film 'Gunda'. Joaquin Phoenix is an executive producer on the project.
Kossakovsky also revealed that the baby is named after Joaquin's late brother.
He slipped in the news during a Q&A last weekend.
After being asked how he got the star of 'Joker' involved in the film, he noted: "He just got baby by the way... A beautiful son called River."

Phoenix and Mara are known for keeping their personal life private.
Neither have officially announced the birth of their firstborn.
They also never confirmed the pregnancy in the first place.
News that the baby was on the way came about in May when Mara's bump was snapped.
Baby River is said to already be a month old.
Joaquin's brother River, who he is named after, passed away in 1993 after starring in such films as 'Stand By Me', 'Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade' and 'My Own Private Idaho.'
Joaquin and Rooney first met on the set of 'Her' in 2013.
They started dating in 2016 after reuniting in the film 'Mary Magdalene' and are now engaged.
