What exactly is wrong with this picture, or the other pictures doing the rounds of the newly-engaged Jennifer last week? I would spend all my time in such apparel if I looked like that (in fact I'm wearing a bikini under my swaddling office woolens right now). Instead of being celebrated for actually resembling a woman, she was ridiculed. Gordon (The Sun's Bizarre editor) actually entitled one of his many pieces featuring lady parts 'Jennifer Loves Chewits'. Clever, Gordon. Jennifer kept a dignified silence last week but has finally spoken out about the incident: "Size two is not fat! Nor will it ever be. And being a size zero doesn't make you beautiful. I know what I look like and so do my friends and family. And like all women out there should, I love my body." I've sat by in silence for a long time now about the way women's bodies are constantly scrutinised. To set the record straight, I'm not upset for me but for all of the girls out there that are struggling with their body image. To all the girls with butts, boobs, hips and a waist, put on a bikini - put it on and stay strong." Correct me if I'm wrong, but is an American size 2 our size 6? Ridiculous.
