Ms. Fonda might be a 70-year-old screen siren but she's got the vocabulary of middle-aged builder in the binds of a loveless marriage. That actress appeared on US morning chat show 'Today' to celebrate the 10th anniversary of The Vagina Monologues-inspired V-Day, a concept which she wasn't too enamored with initially: "I live in Georgia; I was asked to do a monologue called 'C***' and I said, 'I don't think so, I've got enough problems." The expletive ran during the live broadcast on the East Coast. After Jane departed the set's sofa, Today presenter Meredith Vieira said: "We were talking about The Vagina Monologues and Jane Fonda inadvertently said a word from the play that you don't say on television. It was a slip and obviously she apologises, and so do we. We would do nothing to offend the audience. So please accept that apology." God, it's 1972 Vietnam all over again...
