Actor Jamie Foxx has been hospitalised following what his family have described as a 'medical complication'.
The 55-year-old actor is in Atlanta, where he is filming a new Netflix comedy film called 'Back in Action', alongside Cameron Diaz, Glenn Close, Irish actor Andrew Scott and Jamie Demetriou.
However, TMZ report that he was rushed to hospital on Tuesday morning but did not specify what had happened, nor has anyone expanded on the vague 'medical complication' term.
His family have since released a statement via his daughter Corinne, saying "We wanted to share that my father Jamie Foxx experienced a medical complication yesterday.
"Luckily due to quick action and great care he is already on his way to recovery. We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time."
Hopefully he recovers soon, whatever his ailment.
