Something tells us these lads won't have much to say over the next few days after a group of Irish DJs broke the world record for the longest ever talk show.

The team were on air for 63 hours in total, starting on Friday on Radiomade.ie and finishing up on Sunday evening, and they broke the record which had previously been held by a Christian radio station in the United States by a whopping six hours.

One of the participants, Dan Murphy, said it was a tough challenge, because the other lads at least had a bit of a pray when they ran out of material. He told The Journal that "we had good conversation and bit of craic. We had a topic per hour, so the guys prioritised what they wanted to talk about. We narrowed it down to about 60 topics. We talked about everything from religion to music to politics – a little bit of everything. Some things ran out of steam though."

The whole thing was for a good cause, of course, and not just for the craic as they were raising money for charity. In particular the lads wanted to focus on Movember and men's health, raising nearly €3,500 in the process. If you want to support them, head along and donate to their page over here
