It never rains but it pours... with ION videos *jazz hands*. They had not one but two events to cover this weekend, The Irish Web Awardsin the Mansion House on Saturday night (photos of which you can see in Caught Out), and then the Tin Tin Premiere yesterday.
Florescent beads, face paint and bubble blowing abound while Lenny interviewed the event organiser Damien Mulley, Rick O Shea who hosted the awards, and the creators of PopCultureMonster.com. who won best Best Entertainment website *ahems* as sponsored by us (we also gave away €1000 advertising on this here site, so congratulations to Emily Ferns from the National College of Ireland - whoooot). Other winners of the night include 98fm.com, The IrishTimes.com, and Politics.ie.
And so on to a waterlogged Tin Tin premiere. Saoirse Ronan was drafted in by Peter Jackson to pretty much launch the film.ION chatted to her, Liam Cunningham, and Martin McCann in Dublin'sSavoy cinema yesterday.
