Myself and the ION crew shimmied along to The Sugar Club last night for a screening of Comedy Central's new baby - Threesome. There should be a little sperm there impregnating the 'o' in the title, but I've not got that option on my keboard.

To be honest, I wasn't expecting much - largely thanks to the promo Comedy Central are showcasing in their adbreaks. However, as Threesome's writer Tom MacRae dutifully pointed out to me afterwards, there's not a lot you can show pre-watershed when trying to promote a comedy about a drug-fuelled partially gay three way, which results in an unplanned pregnancy.

Threesome, starring the lovely Amy Huberman, Stephen Wight and Emun Elliot is very naughty. It's also extremely funny (there were a lot of laughs, and not just because everyone involved in the production were perched in the audience), charming, and light hearted. And still very naughty...

See it for yourselves this coming Monday from 9.30pm on Comedy Central.

I dare you not to fall in love with 'Ritchie' (Emun Elliot) a little bit. Irrespective of your gender. Then again, swarthy skinned gay men with smooth chests and snappy suits are my weakness.

See ION at the Threesome Premiere here. Expect dodgy dancing, talk of Brian O'Driscoll's liberal attitude, and the machinations of a New Zealand sub editor...
