We all know of a few hand gestures that are definitely considered bad form on these shores, but across cultures and countries, there are many divides and differences that make us unique, including what each different set of people find offensive.

Also, if you do actually want to offend someone (not that we condone it, of course) consider this a guide to making sure that your gesture is culturally specific. If your goal is to piss people off, you might as well do it in a way that makes sense to them, so that you at least show a bit of cultural sensitivity for feck sake.
