Oh hey Goldmember, we didn't know you were a real life supervillain.

Indian businessman and politician Pankaj Parakh spent more money than you'll probably ever have at one time on himself for his 45th birthday by having a shirt made entirely of gold fashioned exclusively for him.

According to the Times of India, the shirt is made of 4kg of varying purities of gold between 18 and 22 carats, cost Parakh €160,000 and was the result of 20 people working for 3,200 hours over two months.

But before we all judge him too harshly, Parakh appears to be a philanthropist also, and gives to many health and welfare services, saying: 'I spend at least a week each year to offer voluntary services at the 1,000-bedded hospital, the biggest and best for polio treatment in India. I also arrange for any requirements of the poor patients like food, medicines, surgery and blankets, from which I get immense satisfaction,'

He hopes to break the Guinness World Record with his new garment. No word on when he plans to turn everything in the world gold also.
