Having tied the knot last weekend, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are heading to Ireland for a mini-moon.

The couple have been tipped to be checking out a gorgeous range of exotic locations for their honeymoon with rumoured destinations including Botswana, Hawaii, Mexico and the Caribbean.

During their trip to Ireland, the couple plan on spending some quality time together as they escape life in the spotlight. The itinerary for the mini-moon is yet to be confirmed, but it is believed the happy couple will visit in June or July.

It marks Harry’s first visit to Ireland but Meghan has already visited as an ambassador for the One Young World summit in 2014.

It’s also possible that another trip to Northern Ireland could be on the cards, after the couple visited last March.

The mini-moon is said to include a trip to Dublin and will take place over a couple of days before the main honeymoon in the coming weeks.

It will be the second royal visit of the summer, as Harry’s father Prince Charles, and his wife Camilla, are expected in late April or early May.
