Whenever somebody starts a sentence with the words 'No offense, but' or 'Please do not take offense to this letter' you know you're going to be offended in about 2.8 seconds. It's not necessarily the words that follow it's more the passive aggressiveness of that phrase. If you're going to say something that might piss somebody off, grow a set and just come out and say it.

Well this person sort of did a bit of both. They might have opened slightly passive aggressively but they quickly moved on to calling their target an 'asshole' in the next sentence. As per Deadspin, this note was left on the car of a reader in Chicago who had parked 'like an asshole' for over a year. The letter writer even went so far as to construct a simple diagram in case the recipient was in any doubt.

The strangest part about the letter however, has to be the rather odd markings and shapes scattered on the page. If you're gonna leave a serious note for somebody, get yourself some decent paper at least.
