And this from the "NO THANKS, I'M GOOD" file, a hospital in China is now accepting applicants to its Pain Experience Camp.

What's that, you're asking? In a nutshell, you can have electrical pads strapped your body in an attempt to simulate the pains of childbirth, free of charges.

The sessions, which have seen over 100 applicants, is being offered five times a week in Aima Hospital, Shandong Province.

Most of the applicants are expectant fathers, however some have signed up simply to experience it for themselves.

The idea behind the tests are simple - to give men a better understanding of the experience and pain that goes into childbirth. "If men can experience this pain, then they'll be more loving and caring," said one applicant.

Another applicant described the session as having his heart and lungs ripped open. Most applicants only lasted to Level 5, however one brave soul made it to Level 10 - before screaming in agony for it to stop.

In 2013, two Dutch media personalities filmed themselves receiving the test and, needless to say, it wasn't pretty.
