As if Conor McGregor mania was ever in doubt, his 'retirement' tweet has sent the internet into overdrive.
Twitter is where the biggest ramifications have been felt. The tweet has had more RTs than Kobe Bryant's retirement tweet and even Xabi Alonso's tribute to Steven Gerard when he left Liverpool.

If this is just a negotiation tactic by McGregor to show the UFC his true worth, then it's hard to look at those numbers and not believe that it's working.
