You think Glastonbury residents would be used to the weird and wacky walking through their town en route to the biggest music festival in the world, but apparently not. A man and a woman dressed as a penis and a vagina respectively were on the street promoting their new show when the man was accosted by a local who was unimpressed by their outfits.
Chris Murray and Joanne Tremarco were performing on the street to promote 'Women who wank and The Penis Monologues' when a passerby took umbrage with the display and attacked Murray. 'He started shouting at me, saying it was disgusting and children could see us,' he told the Central Somerset Gazette. 'I could tell by his body language that he was really angry. I tried to calm him down, I wasn't looking for a fight; but he grabbed my hat, tore it off and chucked it on the pavement.'
Police were called to the scene and the pair were forced to get out of their costumes or face charges from the officers on the scene.
What a dick.
