Harry Styles of One Diretion (and way with the ladies) fame wants to cover his back with one big tattoo. And we just don't get it; why does their increased income seem to correlate directly to the amount of their skin they intend to blacken with ink? It's not like these boys would ever have done this had they not walked blindly into the world's biggest boy band. Maybe I'm wrong but they just don't seem the tattooing type. It doesn't really go with their squeaky clean 'let's pretend like we're in love though we just met' image.

Anyhoo, it's unlikely that Harry gives a shiny shite what I have to say; he's got more than enough dollah bills to bathe in so why not do what ever the hell he wants? But let's just hope that this is where it stops. What ever next? A face tattoo a la Stu in The Hangover Part 2?

The One Direction lothario already has a large collection of ink scattered across his arms and chest, but plans to take things to another level by sitting for an entire back piece, turning to Los Angeles based artist Freddy Negrete for advice on the idea. Freddy told the Daily Star newspaper: 'He just can't seem to stop tattooing at the moment, but he's getting worried they're all too front-heavy so it's definitely his back we'll be concentrating on.

'The whole thing could take months.'

The tattooist also thinks Harry, 19, will continue his Hebrew-themed designs after having his sister Gemma's name etched into his arm in the language.

Freddy added: 'Harry will probably have more Hebrew lettering. He already has his sister's name in Hebrew on his arm and he loves it ... He talks right through [being tattooed] and is always joking.'

Since getting his first tattoo in 2012 - five stars to present himself and his bandmates Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson, Liam Payne and Niall Horan - Harry has sat for more designs including a ship, a shamrock, place names, a heart and a pair of birds on his upper chest.

While Harry may love his ink, his mother Anne Cox is said to be 'worried' about her son's ever-growing collection.

A source previously said: 'Harry's mum is worried his tattoo collection is getting out of hand. She thinks he's getting addicted to sitting in the artist's chair.

'She's concerned about the lasting effects of the scribbles all over his body and thinks he could live to regret some of them.'
