Claridges Hotel, London, played host to the 2011 Harper's Bazaar Women of the Year Awards last night, and therefore had the likes of Florence Welch and Daisy Lowe dripping all over each other, most of Duran Duran and their dates, additional Le Bons,Laura Bailey, Poppy Delevigne, Poppy's sister, Sophie Dahl, The Winkleman, Annie Lennox (who's positive about HIV or HIV Positive)Jessie J(only just copped the 'J' stands for 'jumpsuit') and a slew of other high heels tottering around its innards. So heaving was the hotel’s belly,Mariella Frostrup thoughtfully came as a bottle of Pepto-Bismol.

The last one was a bit of a cop out, was it not? How can all of them be the fashion icon of the year? And what year, specifically this one or every year since 1990? Grow a pair, pick just one of them, and then watch the rest of them simmer *cackles*. Go on, it’s not fair on Kate Moss to be the only one not chosen.
Well, at least she didn’t attend. Unlike Elle MacPherson.
