Gwyneth Paltrow got married to Brad Falchuk over the weekend, the actress has confirmed on Instagram.
Paltrow shared a pic of her and her hubby’s hands wearing wedding bands, following rumours they were going to get hitched last weekend making the rounds last week.
Falchuk, Ryan Murphy’s long-time collaborator and co-creator of ‘Glee’, ‘Pose’ and ‘American Horror Story’, and Paltrow first met on the set of ‘Glee’, which she guest-starred in, in 2014.
According to reports, Jerry Seinfeld, Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden, Steven Spielberg, Nicole Richie, Rachel Zoe and ‘Iron Man’ co-star Robert Downey Jr. attended the private ceremony in their home in The Hamptons, New York.
The star of ‘Se7en’ announced her engagement to Falchuk in Goop magazine's January issue, in which she described him as the "man I was meant to be with."
"Personally, at midlife, I have tried to accept how complex romantic love can be," she said of their relationship. "I have decided to give it a go again, not only because I believe I have found the man I was meant to be with, but because I have accepted the soul-stretching, pattern-breaking opportunities that (terrifyingly) are made possible by intimacy."
She had previously been married to Coldplay frontman, Chris Martin, with their separation being infamously stated as a “conscious uncoupling.” She has two children with Martin, 14 year old Apple and 12 year old Moses. According to reports, her ex was not at the wedding.
Congrats to Gwyneth and Brad!
