In case you've just roused yourself from under a pile of mince pies, we've been counting down our top 30 most read Gossip stories of 2013, and we've reached the top five. Exciting, isn't it. Well, when you think about it, it's not really that exciting given you can generally see what out most read stories are thanks to our Most Read Gossip column on the right hand side of the page here... Still, wasn't it fun getting here?! *coughs*
Moving on to Number 5, we had The Oscars Red Carpet, and it didn't exactly set the world alight. There were no limbs demanding attention for starters.

The fourth most read Gossip story was a surprising entry involving the near death of Lil Wayne. It's probably the first time he's ever featured in our Gossip section, but it won't be the last given the story still has traction despite it being posted last March. People must just be flabbergasted that a internet sourced death rumour actually had some basis for once.

At number 3, we had much debate over Cheryl Cole's giant hoop tattoo, with quite a few of you throwing jibes at each other in our comments below the article.

In the Number 2 spot, with almost 3,000 Face Book likes, we have Peaches Geldof owning Katie Hopkins in spectacular style, reducing the rent-a-gob to a gibbering sack of spite stuck on repeat.

And - finally - no countdown list of muppets would be complete without the presence of Kanye West. In this here video, he compares himself to Shakespeare, Walt Disney, Nike and Google, before completely losing his sh*t around the 17:20 mark. It's almost a shame he's promising to button it for 2014...
