Well it was good while it lasted.

Met Éireann have issued a National Weather Warning for the next 36 hours, with heavy rain, thunderstorms and localised flooding expected in Munster, Connaught and west Ulster, with persistent rain kicking off in the south this morning and reaching the north of the country by this afternoon. Up to 30mm of rain is expected today, with a further 30 to 40mm possibly falling overnight tonight and tomorrow. So maybe time to stock that fridge up with food for the evening, cower on the couch and catch up on some telly. And maybe swap those flip flops for some wellies.

We just can't get any season right can we.
