Good Dog Theatre are bringing the award winning play 'In On It' to Smock Alley this month, and are donating a percentage of its profits to the Marriage Equality campaign.

The play is centred around three intertwining stories about control in a world where accidents happen: a dying man makes plans for the end, a gay couple try to make it work and a grieving writer struggles to create a play. Fast paced and humorous, 'In On It' incorporates a medley of different styles – from intimate conversations to histrionics, from parody to melodrama, from ironic reflection to candid confession - this play examines and questions life’s uncanny likeness to art.

Dublin based writer and director, Tracy Martin, will be directing, fresh off the news of being nominated for a Stewart Parker Award 2015 for her play, Wrapped, which featured at the Dublin Tiger Fringe Festival 2014.

Good Dog Theatre was set up in 2014 by Brian Burns and Owen Martin. Having performed numerous pieces at the Black Box theatre, Smock Alley, including The Lonesome West, The Playboy of the Western World and Waiting for Godot, they and are now set to bring 'In On It' to life once again, and with a good cause in mind.

Good Dog Theatre organised a 'Speakeasy Cocktail Party' fundraiser for In On It on February 7th. On the night they also raised €2000 for Marriage Equality in a fun night of dance, song and naughty burlesque performances. This time around they will make a donation of €5 to Marriage Equality on every standard ticket sold for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The play will be running for 6 nights from April 20th – 25th, and you can pick up your tickets by heading over to here. Don’t miss out on a great play, and a fantastic cause.
