For all those times where you realise you've sent that email to the wrong person in your address book, Gmail is there to help you out.
After testing out the feature with Google Labs, Gmail have decided to roll out an undo send function that will now allow you to recall an email that you want to make changes to or sent in error.
The new feature can be switched on from within the general settings tab in your Gmail, and you can set it for 5, 10, 20 or 30 seconds, depending on how much time you think you'll need to realise you've made the error.

To recall an email, all you have to do is hit 'undo send', which will appear at the top of your screen alongside the confirmation that your message has been sent within the time limit that you set. For now, it doesn't work on the mobile app but according to Mashable, that's something they do intend to roll out in the near future.
Now if only whatsapp can roll out something similar for all those 3am messages we sent...
