I have never talked about Matthew Wright or his "programme" in my life. And now I am thanks to a spot of "accidental" verbal lexdysia involving our Slapa. This makes it the second day running Georgina's appeared on this page, which she must be thrilled about...

Anyway, Matthew Wright has made the front page of The Sun. Congratulations, Matthew. I know it's only The Irish Sun, but it's a start. Same goes for you, Georgia, it was only Channel 5, but it's a start.

The Sun reports: "The former journalist made the gaffe (as in, calling her "Georgia Slapper") made the gaffe during a discussion about her decision to dump womanising beefcake Calum Best on his Channel 5 show The Wright Stuff. And while his audience roared with laughter (well, they would) at the 'slip of the tongue', brave Georgia last night shrugged it off. The 26-year-old said: 'I didn't see it so I don't know exactly what was said. I don't care, I'm not offended by it'."

Now, here's the interesting part: "Channel 5 is owned by UK porn baron Richard Desmond - who also has a 50% stake in down-market rag the Irish Daily Star." Yep, The Sun said that... about the "down-market rag" that is Georgia's bread and butter, considering she appears in it almost daily. Yep, The Sun, which slaps you about the face with a pair of teenage breasts once you venture past the front page, is lording it over The Star. The Sun, which has the sub-headers "Smug telly host Matthew Wright is in hot water after referring to model Georgia Salpa as 'Georgia SLAPPER' yesterday", followed by a second header, simply reading "Porn"... You know, because the aforementioned Richard Desmond is a "porn baron". But it made you read further.

And I'm well aware of the irony of me lording it over The Sun, lording it over The Star - 'cause I partially paraphrase their dirge for a living. Yay me!
