Zdravkov Levidzhov has made sure that no one will ever forget his name by getting it changed to Manchester United and then tattooing it on his forehead.

Manchester United have fans all over the world, of course, and there's no doubting that they are just as passionate as those that can make the trip to the stadium every week. However, one fan in Bulgaria decided that he wanted to show that passion permanently by legally changing his name to that of his beloved club.

It was a tough legal battle that has lasted a long time, as he said he first came up with the idea "with a hangover" the day after United had their famous European Cup win in 1999. His lawyer battled his case for him, and while the judge did eventually rule that changing his name to simply 'Manchester United' would cause issues with regard to trademarks, he was allowed to rename himself Manchester Zdravkov Levidzhov-United.

It rolls off the tongue, of course, so in order to avoid any confusion, he then went ahead and got the club's crest tattooed on his forehead, just to be sure.

According to The Independent, the football-mad Bulgarian isn't concerned about the looks that he gets, because "the tattoo's my ID card. People don't look at me in a funny way, they look in admiration. Now, whenever someone asks my name, I point to my forehead and smile. It makes me stand out and proves my loyalty to United".

It certainly makes him stand out anyway. Here's hoping that the club will offer him a chance at a trip over after all the trouble he went to, as Mr. Manchester United (his actual name now, of course) has only ever been to see his side in action once, and it took him three years to save up for it. We think he deserves a trip to Old Trafford, at least.
