If you've seen 'Guardians of the Galaxy 3', you'll be aware that a Florence + the Machine song soundtracks a key scene in James Gunn's film.

Without revealing any spoilers, a climactic scene sees several of the characters dancing elatedly to the Londoner's song 'Dog Days Are Over', which is taken from her 2008 debut 'Lungs' - and it seems that cinema-goers aren't the only ones that have found the scene emotional.

Florence herself posted a video of her own reaction to the scene to Tik Tok, and she is seen both sobbing and laughing at the moving film, saying "So I cried all the way through this movie but when The Guardians of the Galaxy started dancing to “Dog Days” I really lost it."

She added: "Thank you so much for all the love for this moment. The superhero-obsessed little girl in me can’t believe it happened."

Director James Gunn responded to the video with a series of love heart emojis, while other fans shared similar experiences, with one saying "I had already cried 10 times and when I heard this song begin I went in for the 11th cry. It means so much to me and it’s such a perfect ending."
