Once you've not shared a floating piece of wood together in the middle of the water tank, you tend to stay loyal to each other.

At least that's what appears to have happened as Kate Winslet has put her mouth where a lot of people's money is and claimed that this year is the year that Leonardo DiCaprio will finally take home that elusive Academy Award for Best Actor, even though hder co-star in 'Steve Jobs' is up for the same Oscar.

"I think you can sort of feel it, and I think that everyone wants it for him," she told BBC News. "It would be amazing. It’s also slightly difficult for me to, because Michael Fassbender has been nominated, and I was his right hand woman for three months whilst we were making Steve Jobs, and I saw how hard he worked. I think his performance is so extraordinary. But I think, yeah, you can sort of feel the temperature. It’s probably going to be Leo’s year."

Maybe she really has never let go.
