Fine Gael had their annual Christmas raffle recently at their fundraiser, and there were prizes a plenty for all in attendance.
That included Junior Minister Simon Harris, who won around €1,000 in the national draw, while the Kenny household got lucky too as Taoiseach Enda Kenny's wife Fionnuala won a Christmas hamper full of non-perishable goods.
Fine Gael TDs Pat Deering, Dinny McGinley and Derek Keating all won Christmas hampers too, but they missed out on the top cash prize of €20,000 (a lovely Christmas bonus), while there 14 further prizes ranging from €10,000 down to €1,000. Winners can expect their hampers to be couriered to them, but if they're not in then they can still claim them after Christmas too.
All the money raised on the night goes towards Fine Gael's fundraising campaigns, and we have managed to get some footage of the draw being made, through some top-secret informant who wishes to stay anonymous.
