You can now follow actress, humanitarian and stylish human being Emma Watson on her Beauty and the Beast press trip.
As well as being an actress, Emma Watson is a UN Goodwill Ambassador, a human rights campaigner, and a supporter of ethical fashion, among other things. It's a very impressive CV, to say the least, and now she's just about to begin a massive press tour to promote her new highly anticipated film, Beauty and the Beast.
While some actresses would leave it up to the paps to let everyone know what they wore to the reams of interviews and conferences they have to attend, Emma has set up a second Instagram account to chronicle her outfits. It's aptly named The Press Tour, and it's going to be goo-ood; Emma has amazing personal style.
It's also an inspired idea with a brilliant account name.
If you were wondering why Emma doesn't just post the snaps to her personal account, it's because The Press Tour isn't just a vanity project, Emma launched it to promote sustainable fashion, one of the causes close to her heart.
There are three posts on the @the_press_tour so far. You are going to fall in love with the Oscar de la Renta ensemble she wore for Beauty and the Beast's first public screening in Paris. Sashes, we predict, are going to be the next big accessory.
Tonight was the first ever public screening of @beautyandthebeast! We were so happy to surprise the audience in Paris and say “bonjour” in person, especially as this is the country where it was created and Belle’s place of birth 🇫🇷🌹 Laura Kim and Fernando Garcia, the new Co-Creative Directors of @oscardelarenta, created this Jacobian flower-embroidered duchesse satin bustier with an organic silk faille sash and organic wool trousers as part of their first collection.
