Why does Ed Sheeran have his hand on Ellie Goulding's leg like that? Is he being a gross? Ellie seems to be okay with it though, which can only mean she likes it, ergo they're secretly dating, yes? But what about poor Niall?!
Ed and Ellie got caught being a little too familiar with each other by the wandering eye of MTV's internet cameras that were posted all over the arena at last night's VMAs in Brooklyn, New York. Once people picked up on their moment of PDA, it was everywhere but Goulding was quick to jump on the news and shut the speculation down saying

The big question is was this all to hide the fact that she's actually dating Sheeran in secret, or a protection of her alleged relationship with Niall? She recently told the Mirror 'I just can't talk about Niall. I won't ever talk about my love life anymore because it's always then gone wrong when I have in the past.' so all signs point to yes on the relationship front there, and he was spotted sitting next to her for a while at the awards last night, so it looks like it's still all on.
If it's on at all.
