Dwayne Johnson has revealed that he and his family tested positive for coronavirus.

He shared the news via Instagram in an 11 minute long video. In the post, he explained that he, his wife Lauren Hashian, and two daughters, 4 year old Jasmine and two year old Tiana Gia, all tested positive for Covid-19.

The wrestler-turned-actor said: "My No. 1 priority is to always protect my family and my loved ones."

He added: "I wish it was only me that tested positive. It was my entire family and it was a kick in the gut."

He said that thankfully, they're now "on the other end of it and no longer contagious," adding: "I have had some of my best friends lose their parents to this virus that is so incredibly relentless and unforgiving.

"We are counting our blessings, but we are good."

Dwayne described that he and Lauren suffered worse symptoms than their daughters.

He said they picked up the virus from close family friends: "These are people who we love and trust, these are people who we still love and trust.

"They had no idea where they picked it up and they're devastated that it lead to affecting our family."

Johnson advised his followers to boost their immune system and always wear a mask.
