The success of the Dublin Bike scheme has brought about some interest from sponsors, and today a major new plan was announced for the project.
Teaming together with Coke Zero, who will also sponsor the scheme in Cork, Limerick and Galway as it rolls out across the country, a big increase in the number of bikes and stations available in the capital has been announced.
While the plans to get sponsorship with Coke were announced a few months back, we now have a look at the large increase that residents of Dublin can expect to see knocking around the streets as cycling continues to grow in popularity.
Dublin Bikes becomes Coca-Cola Zero Dublin Bikes. Number of bikes trebles to 1.5k and stations increased to 100.
