A horrific "prank" that saw a teen get drenched in urine, faeces and spit has gotten plenty of people angry, including comedian Drew Carey.

Bay Village, Ohio was the scene of a twisted prank related to the Ice Bucket Challenge recently when an autistic teenager ended up covered in spit, urine and faeces. Some as yet unidentified people dumped the mix of disgusting fluids over him instead of the ice water, as the challenge is normally done, and they made a video of it which was uploaded to Instagram.

Drew Carey, who is from Bay Village and who set his Drew Carey Show in the city was outraged by the incident, and he decided to set up a reward fund as an incentive for people who come forward with any information about who might have been behind it.

Since Drew's tweet, Jenny McCarthy has promised to double the amount, Donnie Wahlberg has also joined in, while plenty of others have offered funds too. If the police happen to find the perpetrators without anyone coming forward for the reward, then the money will be donated to Autism Speaks instead, a local charity.

The victim of the prank was a 15-year-old autistic boy whose mother told CNN "He was embarrassed because he did not know what the contents were until afterwards, and then he didn't want anybody to know."

The Bay Village Police Department added that they understand the anger from the community as a result of this, and added "it is the hope of our community that this anger will be channeled into a positive action and supporting organizations such as Autism Speaks."
